I just finished my forth day of my new job, and I must say, I FREAKING LOVE IT.
I'm working at a Ford Dealership as a Porter. Now for those of you who don't know what a Porter is, It's the guy who moves the cars from where you, the costomer, parked it to the back, where the Techs take it, and put it in there stalls to work on. When I'm not doing that, I'm in the shop, sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, and anything else they need.
I must say, my work ethic has never been this strong. I'm keeping busy thrughout the day, I get to drive such interesting cars, some are so badass that I don't want to get out of them. Some accually have rearview cameras that help me when I back up.
I'm enjoying the work, and it's so satisfying to hear thank you from the techs, and Paul, everone's boss. Apperently the previous Porter(s) hardly did anything. Sure they would move cars, but they wouldn't put in the effort to clean, or do any extra carricular work. I just got done mopping, and cleaning, the back rooms, and mopping the entire shop floor.
And I'm curtainly turning some heads, My boss, Paul, Said the shop has NEVER looked so good. When the floor was dirty, the shop just looked dark, and put everyone in a depressing mood. Now after I've cleaned it, it looks shiny, makes the shop look brighter, and puts everyone in a good mood.
They all have been saying good things to me, and about me. One guy said that "I have done more shit in one day, then Kareem (the previous porter, who now works in detailing)ever did in a week." Paul himself said that I put Kareem to shame. Today, at lunch, Paul was in the break room, and handing out the upsail bonuses, which are determained buy a literal roll of the dice. Anyway, I walked up to get a soda from the vending machine, and as I reached down to pick up a dime I dropped, and Paul hands me $5. He said "This is for doing such a great job."
I told my dad (Who happens to also work there as a Tech) and he couldn't believe it. He told Mike, his parner, and he said. "What?! That's unheard of. Paul never gives out tips. He's the cheapest basterd I know!"
Appreciation and Recognition. Those are the two biggest words that perfectly describe my experiances down there. I'm doing good work, and I'm appreciated for it. That was the main thing I was missing at the theater. I did all that work, and was treated like crap. Here, I'm treated better. They like me. I enjoy working for them, and it's 40 hours a week. At More then $9 and hour.
I feel great.

30 day video game challenge UPDATE. JUL 2019
Back in 2011, I did a 30 day video game challenge, where you have to answer 30 questions related to video games. 8 years later, I've decided to update it now that I've had more experience. Some answers have changed, but some I've updated. If you'd like to do it too, copy and paste everything into your own journal, with your own questions.
Day One - Very first video game: Ether Super Mario World, Or Sonic the Hedgehog on Game Gear. I can't remember which I played first.
Day 2 - *UPDATE* Your favorite character: It use to be Sonic, but lately I've shifted to other characters. Ezio from Assassin's Creed, Arthur Morgan and John Marston from
I would like to request a Commission.
My Metal Gear Rising/My little pony Fanfic is gaining some popularity over on FimFiction. I would like to commission someone to draw a cover for it, featuring Raiden, and his Pony team. I won't ask for anything specific, only that it's epic. The only covers I have for it, feature ponies that aren't even in it.
I'm willing to pay, if you're willing to draw. And if you aren't interested, perhaps you know someone who is. Here is a link to my fanfic;

If I was any good at drawing I'd do it myself, believe me. Please let me know.
Never been snowed in before
Good news and bad news. I just got a new job with a local newspaper. Pays well, nice people, Fun work. I've worked there one week now.
However, it just snowed a whole foot, and shows no sign of letting up. Adding to the bad snow we already had.
We put chains on one of the cars, but even it got stuck.
We can't leave the house right now. Which means, I can't make it to work tomorrow. I called them and they understand. But it just looks bad, I feel.
No Man's Sky, Log Date 8/18/16
I woke up on a frigid planet. My ship was badly damaged, however, and the only way to fix it is to collect materials. Luckily this planet had everything I needed. But I had to hurry, Night was falling, and it gets down to -66 C at night.
Thankfully, my ship's environmental systems were still online. So I was able to sleep comfortably in the cockpit.
The next morning I remembered why I came all the way out here in the first place. I was responding to a distress signal, but my ship crashed.
I found where the signal was coming from. A strange mysterious red orb appeared before me. It called itself Atlas, and it wants me to travel to the cente
