Back in 2011, I did a 30 day video game challenge, where you have to answer 30 questions related to video games.  8 years later, I've decided to update it now that I've had more experience.  Some answers have changed, but some I've updated.  If you'd like to do it too, copy and paste everything into your own journal, with your own questions.

Day One - Very first video game: Ether Super Mario World, Or Sonic the Hedgehog on Game Gear. I can't remember which I played first.

Day 2 - *UPDATE* Your favorite character: It use to be Sonic, but lately I've shifted to other characters.  Ezio from Assassin's Creed, Arthur Morgan and John Marston from Red Dead Redemption, Ryu from Street Fighter, Shantae.  So many great characters, with great stories, it's hard to pick just one.

Day 3 - *UPDATE* A game that is underrated: Brutal Legend.  When it first came out, it didn't do well, and it few under the radar.  But I'm glad that it's gotten a new cult following.  Maybe enough for a sequal in the future.

Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game: Not sure how to answer this one. But... Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude

Day 5 -*UPDATE* Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were): Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2.

Day 6 - *UPDATE* Most annoying character: Audrey from HuniePop. (don't play it kids)  I really wish I could ignore

Day 7 - *UPDATE* Favorite game couple: Johnny and Sonya from Mortal Kombat.  Things might be rocky with them, but at least they gave me Cassie.  Best girl and my go to in online matches.

Day 8 - *UPDATE* Best soundtrack. So many games have so many great songs.  I said Brutal Legend last time, but other games deserve notice.  Assassin's Creed Black Flag just for the shanties, the Shantae series has some great songs, and though I haven't played them, the Persona games seem to have good music.

Day 9 - *UPDATE* Saddest game scene. That would be the ending of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. If your a fan of the series you would know what I mean.  HOWEVER, that was a tearjerker in an awesome way.  I'm going to have to shift to RDR2.  Arthur's last ride really got to me.

Day 10 - *UPDATE* Best gameplay. Kingdom Hearts 3. They managed to mix all of that gameplay from previous games into one, and make it work.

Day 11 - Gaming system of choice: Lets see...Wii, PS3, PS2, Gamecube, SNES, N64.... I'm pretty much a jack of all trades. Some ask me if I'm a PS3 or a Nintendo, or XBox Fanboy. I tell them. "I'm a Gamer. Nothing more, Nothing less." I'm not picky. I like all Video Games.

Day 12 - A game everyone should play: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Need I say more.

Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times. Pretty much all of them.

Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper: Brutal Legend.

Day 15 *Update* - Post a screenshot from the game you’re playing right now. images.app.goo.gl/UgsjBJai1ynF…

Day 16 - *UPDATE* Game with the best cut scenes. I would have to say Spiderman PS4.

Day 17 - *UPDATE* Favorite antagonist. So many good ones. But I guess The Bonnes from Megaman Legends.  Seriously, they are like Team Rocket, except actually a threat.

Day 18 - *UPDATE* Favorite protagonist. Arthur Morgan

Day 19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in. I can't post a pic, but The land of Metal from Brutal Legend.

Day 20 - *UPDATE* Favorite genre. Action Adventure.

Day 21 - *UPDATE* Game with the best story. So many good ones latly.  Spiderman, RDR2, etc.

Day 22 - A game sequel which disappointed you. Pac-man 2 the new adventures :iconzombiecancerplz:

Day 23 - *UPDATE* Game you think had the best graphics or art style. Grand Theft Auto 5.  It feels like i'm in a real city

Day 24 - Favorite classic game. Aladdin on SNES. Thank you capcom.

Day 25 - *UPDATE* A game you plan on playing.  Final Fantasy 7 remake.

Day 26 - *UPDATE* Best voice acting. Hands down RDR2

Day 27 - *UPDATE* Most epic scene ever. Kingdom Hearts 3.  The epic return on Roxas.

Day 28 - Favorite game developer. Nintendo

Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving. Battlefield Bad Company. Before that game I never liked FPS games. But I gave that game a try, and ended up liking it.

Day 30 - *UPDATE* Your favorite game of all time. That's a hard one to say. Too Many to count.

Hope you guys liked my updated answers.  Feels good to look back and see how my answers have changed.

My Metal Gear Rising/My little pony Fanfic is gaining some popularity over on FimFiction.  I would like to commission someone to draw a cover for it, featuring Raiden, and his Pony team.  I won't ask for anything specific, only that it's epic.  The only covers I have for it, feature ponies that aren't even in it.

I'm willing to pay, if you're willing to draw.  And if you aren't interested, perhaps you know someone who is.  Here is a link to my fanfic;

If I was any good at drawing I'd do it myself, believe me.  Please let me know.

Good news and bad news. I just got a new job with a local newspaper. Pays well, nice people, Fun work. I've worked there one week now.

However, it just snowed a whole foot, and shows no sign of letting up. Adding to the bad snow we already had.

We put chains on one of the cars, but even it got stuck.

We can't leave the house right now. Which means, I can't make it to work tomorrow. I called them and they understand. But it just looks bad, I feel.

I woke up on a frigid planet. My ship was badly damaged, however, and the only way to fix it is to collect materials. Luckily this planet had everything I needed. But I had to hurry, Night was falling, and it gets down to -66 C at night.
Thankfully, my ship's environmental systems were still online. So I was able to sleep comfortably in the cockpit.

The next morning I remembered why I came all the way out here in the first place. I was responding to a distress signal, but my ship crashed.

I found where the signal was coming from. A strange mysterious red orb appeared before me. It called itself Atlas, and it wants me to travel to the center of the galaxy. First thing's first though, I have to get off this ice cube of a planet.

My ship is finally repaired and flyable. Before leaving the planet, I chose to explore a bit. Turns out this planet and all of the surrounding systems are all uncharted, and the Atlas will pay me for anything I document. Surprisingly, I found some local wildlife.

I explored each planet in this system until I was satisfied. Finally, I got my hyperdrive up and running, and I traveled to the next system on my way to the center of the galaxy.

What can you say about the Uncharted series? It's one of the best adventure series of this generation. Rivaling Tomb Raider, and both being inspired by Indiana Jones. And now the forth game in the series is out (fifth if you count the Vita game). And I wanted to give my first thoughts now that I've played it a little. And I avoided spoilers the best I could.

The game continues the tradition of putting the protagonist, Nathan Drake, in a dangerous situation right off the bat, where you have no Idea what's going on. In this case driving a boat, in a bad storm, with poor visibility, sharp rocks to crash into, and a moment of engine failure, all while bad guys are shooting at him.

Typical day for Drake.

After that bit of chaos we cut to Nathan when he was a kid, who was left in an orphanage. This was mentioned in the previous game, and I'm glad they expanded on it. This is where we meet Nathan's older brother Sam, who helps Nathan escape, and I assume they never return.

We then cut to Adult Nathan Drake, in a panama prison, in a fist fight with one of the prisoners.
After the fight is broken up by the guards, Drake is put in detention. After a few days, I think, the captain of the guards, Vargas, takes Drake to a forgotten part of the prison, where we learn that this was all part of a plan, to find the lost treasure of famous Pirate Henry Avery. And Vargas wants in.
Drake climbs into the ancient prison cell of Avery. This is where we get our first puzzle of the game. Just have to press Roman Number 12 (XII). He finds a weird crucifix and tells Vargas that he didn't find anything.
After talking with Sam and their new client, Reef I think. I think this guy's going to be this game's Villain, but I don't know for sure yet.
Anyway, they all get into a big fist fight with the inmate from earlier and his friends.
Vargas and the other guards break it up, as Vargas discovers the Crucifix, and pulls the three into his office. Saying Drake shouldn't have hid it from him, and he wants 25%. Making it even. Reef agrees to this, and stabs Vargas to death. Before he dies, he shoots his gun, alerting the guards.
Next is a chase, and escape from the prison. Nathan and Reef manage to escape, But Sam is shot and killed right in front of Nathan. This leads into the opening credits.

They show sketches depicting events from the previous games all while the Uncharted theme is playing. Nostalgia hit me like a brick during this part.

15 years after the prison escape, were finally back on track. At the end of Uncharted 3, Drake agrees to retire, and start a life with Elena Fisher. This is what I wanted to see the most. And this is the best part for me.
Nathan works as a salvage diver, and in this case, he's retrieving cargo from a truck that fell of the bridge. They open the crate, only to find, rolls of copper wire. I found this very funny, and even Nathan agrees, that this was way more underwhelming then the treasures he use to find.
He goes home to Elena, and we see him up in his study. Where we get even more nostalgia. You can look at a bunch of artifacts from the previous games. The various journals, with pictures of characters he's met. A figure of the six armed guardian of the Chintamani stone. A bottle of blue resin. The Spanish coin, found on the German U-boat. And even the Cipher that lead to the lost city of Ubar.
We get an amusing scene of Drake playing with a toy gun, shooting at targets of monsters and bad guys he's faced in his career.

He goes down stairs, and eats with Elena. But he gives hints that he misses the adventures he use to have.
He then plays a video game with Elena, which just so happens to be Crash Bandicoot on PS1. Playable, no less.

I love when game companies give fan-service.

After that, we find out that Sam is alive, and after a tearful reunion, he talks about how he escaped from Panama.

And that's where I stopped. The game is fantastic so far, And I can't wait to keep playing.
